August 26, 2004. I have just arrived back from the Israel Team Tryouts! I made the team, whohoo! I now have my first ISU Junior Grand Prix assignment. It will be for the Long Beach competition, September 9-12, 2004. My Coaches Valentin, Tonia and Andrea are all excited for me.
In Israel, I skated at the Canada Center in the town Metulla for a few days before the tryouts. The Center is very nice. There is an Olympic size ice rink, workout room, basketball court, swimming pools and even a bowling center in it! I didn't have time, however, to really explore and use the facilities.
ISU judges critiqued my short and long programs. Generally they liked the programs, choreography, style, music and everything but I have a few elements that I need to make more difficult. So now my coach Tonia is working on each element and trying to make them as difficult as possible without killing me, of course. :) ill write to you guys later...adios
